Zlata A
Zlata A. Dikaya is a graduate of the Institute of International Relations (MGIMO)
in Moscow, Russia. She received her Master of Business Administration degree in
1995 and her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in 1997 from the above institute.
Being a recipient of the Edmund S. Muskie fellowship, she received her Master of
Laws (LLM) degree from Northwestern University School of Law, Chicago, Illinois
in 1999. Ms. Dikaya is licensed to practice as a member of the New York State
Bar. She is authorized to practice before the US Citizenship and Immigration
Service (USCIS) and the US immigration courts. She is a member of the American
Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the New Jersey Chapter Asylum Liaison
Committee.
Zlata worked for the United Technologies Corporation as an associate before
she started to practice immigration law with a non-for-profit organization
"Alliance for Better Immigration Laws" in New York in 2001. She joined
the firm of Johnson, Murphy, Hubner, McKeon, Wubbenhorst & Appelt, P.C. in
April 2003. Ms. Dikaya practices exclusively in the area of immigration law. She
has handled a wide variety of immigration cases with the focus on employment and
family immigration. She has been writing extensively on the topic of immigration
of healthcare employees to the US. She is the author of popular articles that
regularly appear on Immigration Daily Internet portal at www.ilw.com. She
speaks Russian and Ukrainian fluently.
